Dear Lord, God of all
You are the Alpha and Omega of our lives. In this time of our deep concern for the world, we pray. Teach us to boldly follow the example of Jesus, our savior.
You are my God. My time is in your hands. Lead me to use it in service, as taught by Jesus Christ. We pray for our thoughts and actions to seek basic Human Rights, in every land, with freedom from fear, persecution and death. As we come together in community, we are gifted with your power through prayer. Lead our awareness to serve with love in the way of Jesus.
You are my God. My time is in your hands. Lead me to use it in service. We pray for our United States, for the actions of our President, and for our representatives to serve and protect our nation with the rights declared in our Constitution for all of our citizens equally. May we become leaders for peace and human rights in the world.
You are my God. My time is in your hands. Lead me to use it in service.
We pray for urgent aid to the victims of fires, floods, hurricanes and earthquakes in the world. Give us focus on our concern for climate change action.
You are my God. My time is in your hands. Lead me to use it in service. We pray with gratitude for our Emmanuel Parish, Fr. Berto, Fr. Hugh, our Vestry, Bill and Margie Bangs in their many roles keeping the facilities and finances in good order, and the many hands working to keep the beauty and spirit of Emmanuel thriving.
We are blessed. You are our God. Our time is in your hands. Lead us to use it in service.
We pray for our thoughts and actions to seek healthy stewardship of this beautiful earth. Your creation sustains our lives and the animals, as you designed it in balance.  Lead our actions to stop the human destruction of your natural world, and to follow the way of Jesus.
You are my God. Our time is in your hands. Lead us to use it in service. We pray for those who have died, and for those who grieve. May your comfort be in the love they have shared, and in the kingdom of their joy with angels and archangels.
You are our God. Our time is in your hands. Lead us to use it in service. We pray for each of us, as you know our needs, especially for the hungry, the homeless, those in pain, addiction, fear and sickness, and for those we name here:
You are our God. Our time is in your hands. Lead us to use it in service with love. Bless those you have given us to carry in our hearts.

Presider: We come to you in prayer Lord, each in our own way. We are grateful for each person here today, and the community we share in compassion and caring. Lead us into service, with our minds, hearts and actions, knowing the joy of following our Savior and teacher, Jesus Christ, our leader in all things big and small, in whose name we pray. AMEN.
