Dear Lord, We pray together for the whole world as we
celebrate Pentecost.

We ask the light of your Holy Spirit to guide us in our time
of uncertainty.

Bless the clergy and churches, in their service to our world in
need of your comfort and reassurance. Let us not hold fear,
not feel divided, but gathered together toward the peace of
the Lord, sent through Jesus Christ.
Your love Lord, is what we thirst for. We are all made to
drink of one Spirit, for the common good.

In this pandemic, we pray for those who are giving
themselves to save others: the health care providers, rescue
responders, overburdened hospitals, food banks, farmers and
cooks giving freely to the hungry, shelters, mental health
providers, and social workers. Volunteers and non profits join
to be their best for others in need.
We are grateful for the many diverse gifts the Holy Spirit
brings. We each serve in our own way.
We are baptized into one body in the Spirit.
Thanks be to God.

Lord we are deeply grateful for our all inclusive Emmanuel
Parish community of service. We honor one another in our
many differences and gifts from God.
We are blessed beyond words and pray with gratitude and
love for our Rector Fr. Berto and Fr. Hugh, and for Karen and Lisa, Bill and Margie, Stewart, the garden gang, the arrangers of the beautiful flowers
on our church entry, and all who silently serve in love for our
common good in this peaceful time of staying connected.
Bless our special community in service to one another. It is
our reward to give to others, according to the gifts God has
given us.

Lord, bless our earth home, the air above, the waters and earth
below, and the creatures small and great, to whom you have
given different jobs.
May the Holy Spirit breathe a fire of passion for us to change
our destructive ways, so you may renew the face of the earth
Lord.

We are grateful for the many gifts people and organizations of
Orcas Island bring to our community: the food bank in time of
great need, housing, homeless sheltering, counseling, medical
transportation, responsive volunteers and neighbors.
May they be in your peace and safety Lord.
We pray for those carrying burdens, those in pain, hunger,
loneliness, depression, addiction, loss of loved ones, loss of
income, or any kind of suffering, especially those we name here:

Lord, bring them to the light of your Holy Spirit, and into the
peace of your healing love.

Bless all who have died, and those who mourn their loss.
Bless each soul who returns to you Lord, may they rejoice in
your loving presence.

Thank you Lord, for the opportunity to slow our pace, connect with
our own spirit, be in nature, listen to our church services online
and feel part of your family, in all its differences. May we each be
in the light of your Holy Spirit. We love you Lord.
Presider: Precious Lord, Thank you for sending your son, Jesus
Christ, who brings the rivers of living waters, in His name, through
the Holy Spirit. We were all made to drink of one Spirit. Bless and
keep us each, in the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy
Spirit. Amen.
