Spirit that connects us all, we pray for knowledge and
understanding of the tasks we ought to do and for the grace and
power to accomplish them through Jesus Christ.
May we bear fruit as we serve others.
Spirit that connects us all, we cannot hide from the tragedies that
surround us in the world, from storms and floods to war and
genocide. We often lack hope that things will change. May we
commit to searching for ways we can make a difference in the world rather than giving up.
May we bear fruit as we serve others.
Spirit that connects us all, despite the woes of the world, we are
aware every day of the beauty and love surrounding us. It renews
us and gives us strength to continue in our mission to love and
serve others. For this we are so grateful. May we take time to sit in
silence and awe and let love touch us.
May we bear fruit as we let love guide us.
Spirit that connects us all, we are thankful for the Episcopal
church and all churches who take a stand for justice and love. We
are thankful for our priests Berto and Hugh, Presiding Bishop
Sean Rowe, and Bishop Phillip LaBelle. We pray that they will find
strength every day as they minister to our community and
the wider area.
May we bear fruit as we let love guide us.
Spirit that connects us all, we pray for the United States of
America in this time of turmoil. May we individually strengthen
the bonds between ourselves and our neighbors and find ways to
support those who are in need.
May we bear fruit as we let love guide us.
Spirit that connects us all, we pray for those who suffer from
illness, both physical and mental, poverty, fear, and loneliness. We
name them now, either silently or aloud (pause)… And we pray
for those on our parish prayer list……And for those for whom no one prays, may they find
healing and comfort.
May we bear fruit as we let love guide us.
Spirit that connects us all, we remember those who have died and
pray for those who mourn. May they know that love has never left
them.
May we bear fruit as we let love guide us.
