Strengthening Families 10-14 is a free seven week workshop for families with youth who are 10-14 years old. With a focus on empathy-building, healthy boundaries, and resiliency to peer-pressure, this program is designed to families up with the tools to navigate this stage together. Youth and adults leave with concrete skills to approach this next chapter of life. Dinner is provided at the beginning of each program, followed  youth and parent/caregiver breakout sessions where groups will learn skills from the evidence based curriculum and from each other. The program ends with a family group session, where parents and youth come together to practice what they’ve learned (ex, family meetings, active listening) and play games together.The Adult sessions will be facilitated in both English and Spanish.  The youth session is facilitated only in English.
