Almighty and everlasting God, we will praise you and highly exalt you for ever.  Bless all members of your church and especially Michael, our Presiding Bishop, Greg, our Bishop, Berto and Hugh, our priests.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, we know that suffering produces endurance which produces character and thus hope which will not disappoint.  Bless the leaders of this nation, especially Donald our President, and Jay, our Governor so that they will not disappoint residents of these United States.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, your splendor is greater than any nation.  Bless all leaders of every nation to bring peace to their people and protect this precious earth.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, we know you created Wisdom at the beginning.  We give thanks for this year’s high school graduates.  May they retain wisdom, knowledge as well as memories of Orcas Island as they go forth for further education and work.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, we give thanks for our fathers and ask your blessing on them as well as all fathers in this parish and on this island.   Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list…; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, we give thanks for the life of theologian Joseph Butler who died on this date in 1752 and all theologians.  May they remind us, as Joseph Butler said, of the “reasonable probability” of Christianity and we pray for all those near death, those who have died and those that mourn.  Lord, in your mercy Hear our prayer.

Presider: Almighty and everlasting God, we know you hear the prayers of your people, please help us to accept your will in response to our prayers, through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
