Precious Lord, our world is in great need of your love.We pray that we might become like you during these challenging times — gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and filed with kindness and truth. In Christ we pray.

Precious Lord, although we are unable to gather together in our beloved, little white church, we wait in patience and hope for better times. Be with us as we worship in the safety of our homes, bound by love of Christ and His love for the world. In Christ we pray.

Precious Lord, help us build a nation that values, respects, and honors all peoples. Help us build a society that supports the safety, well-being, and fulfillment of each of its members. For only in this vision will we become a city on the hill, ignited by the light of love. In Christ we pray.

Precious Lord, help us care for those who are struggling to meet basic needs of food, safety, shelter, and health care. Be with those in prison, seeking dignity and justice. Protect those who support us with essential work, and be with those without work. In Christ we pray.

Precious Lord, we are deeply thankful for the natural world and its soul-cleansing song in this time of sickness. As we reenter society, help us to remember to care for the earth as it has cared for us. We pledge ourselves to work for clean water, clean air, healthy soil, and to safeguard the plants and animals with whom we share creation. In Christ we pray.

Precious Lord, you promise that in hope we are saved. In great hope, we pray for relief for those who suffer illness, injury, anxiety, confusion, doubt, and fear. We grieve with the grieving and offer the lives of their loved ones into your loving care. We pray for light, love, and assurance for the family and friends we now name (pause ), including those on our parish prayer list:  and for all those for whom no one prays. In Christ we pray.

For those celebrating Anniversaries this week:Grant, O God, in your compassion, that George & Ingrid Karnikis, Steve & Nancy Malott, and Carl & Marianne Lewis having taken each other in marriage, may grow in forgiveness, loyalty, and love; and come at last to the eternal joys which you have promised through Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
