Dear God the Mother and Father,

May this church gathering today, draw your love through us to each other, our community, the world and to those you call us to serve.

We surrender to your love, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray for Emmanuel Church, our priests, Kate and Wray, our Vestry, Wardens, and search committee, and for your churches of many names, throughout the world.

Bless those who care and serve others in ways we do not see.

We surrender them to your loving guidance, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray for your innocent victims of war, violence, injustice of any kind, and for those struggling to survive, especially in the Ukraine and South Sudan.

We surrender them to your love, in the name of Jesus Christ.

For the peacemakers of the world, may your power be with them and guide their judgment. And may all leaders rise to the courage of negotiation of differences.

We surrender them to your wisdom, in the name of Jesus Christ.

For those who have died, especially Nancy Maynard, hold them with peace and joy in your heavenly kingdom.

We surrender them to your love, in the name of Jesus Christ.

For those in need, both great and small, and those on our parish prayer list. We pray for the comfort of your abiding presence.

Thank you dear Lord for our bountiful blessings, both in our daily life and in your invitation for us to always return to your comfort and strength. May the Holy Spirit  lead us through this day with gratitude and delight. AMEN.
