O Lord, who does not see as mortals see, we pray for the world and your church.

Open the eyes of all your children.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, help Katherine, Greg, Wray and Kate as well as all ministers be faithful leaders empowering us to fulfill your mission.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, help Barack, our President, Jay, our governor and all in authority maintain the peace and preserve the world.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, comfort and protect those that live in harm’s way especially those in Syria, South Sudan, Crimea and the Ukraine.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, help our parish be an inclusive family of God.  Share your wisdom with our vestry and search committee.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, help those who are sick, struggle with addictions or are in recovery and all those on our parish prayer list to be aware of your Holy Spirit.

So, we may live as children of light.

O Lord, help those who weep over the death of a loved one, especially those who lost a family member in the Oso mudslide and comfort those who are transitioning from this earthly life.

So, we may live as children of light.

Celebrant: O Lord, help us to no longer live in darkness so we may live as children of light and do your good works in this temporal world.  Amen.
