Dearest Lord, hold our many peoples in your hands. We are different in language and culture, ability and wealth, belief and health, but we all have beating hearts that long for purpose and meaning. Send us your Spirit so that we might love each other as you have loved us in Christ Jesus.

Dearest Lord, hold the world of nature in your hands. It is so beautiful this June morning in its blooming splendor, in its blue skies and bold forests and rocky shores. Send us your Spirit so that we might love your creation as you have loved us in Christ Jesus.

Dearest Lord, hold us and our families and our neighbors in your hands. Walk with us through times of trouble, laugh with us in times of joy, succor us in our grief. Send us your spirit so that we may be for each other what you are for us — pure, shining love. Send us your spirit so that we might love each other as you have loved us in Christ Jesus.
