Gathered in the holy presence of God, let us pray for our world and for all who dwell in it.

That the church will receive God’s blessing in its desire for holiness, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That all nations will receive God’s blessing in freedom from injustice and war, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That those who serve in public office will receive God’s blessing in promoting the common good, and that we may make wise choices in next week’s election, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That those who suffer from poverty, illness, and homelessness will receive God’s blessing in renewed hope, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That this assembly of God’s children will receive God’s blessing in this sacrifice of thanksgiving, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That those who have died, will receive God’s blessing in everlasting glory, let us pray to the Lord: Lord, hear our prayer.

That those on our parish prayer list may they be aware of, comforted and strengthened by your Spirit as your will is done for them. Lord, hear our prayer.

Presider: With all the saints around your throne, O God, we offer prayers that reach toward praise.  Let us rejoice and be glad in your love as we celebrate life in the kingdom of your Son, Jesus Christ who is Lord for ever and ever. Amen.
