O God, we, some of Abraham’s descendants, pray to you who always has mercy.
We pray for all of Abraham’s descendants that worship you in your church that your mission may be fulfilled.
O Lord, hear our prayer and help us to have our mind on divine, rather than human, things.
We pray for Barack, our President, Jay, our Governor, the Congress of the United States and all in authority that they make wise decisions on our behalf.
O Lord, hear our prayer and help us to have our mind on divine, rather than human, things.
We pray that leaders and residents of San Juan County may work together to find a place for our homeless brothers and sisters to rest.

We pray for peace throughout the world, for the end of senseless terrorism, for the grace to not only hear but also to respond to the grievances that cause these conflicts.

We pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, especially those on our parish prayer list….. may they find time this Lent to become aware of your spirit so that they may be comforted and become a new person on Easter.
