For forgiveness, reconciliation, and healing in churches, mosques, synagogues and all places of worship, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

For the poor, the oppressed, and those in prison, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

For those who want to know God more deeply, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

For those who are in leadership in the nations and businesses of the world, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay

For those who are in a hospital, nursing home, or in a place which is strange to them, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

For those in whose family, marriage or close relationship, there is stress or a breakup, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

For those who are waiting for a birth, or a death, or news which will a?ect their lives, Holy Spirit, draw near.   Draw near and stay.

For those who have died, especially Phil Greenawalt. Draw near and stay.

For those who need to forget the god they do not believe in and meet the God who believes in them, Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

We pray especially for those we now name:

Lord, we believe that you hear our prayer and will be faithful to your promise to answer us. Holy Spirit, draw near. Draw near and stay.

Presider:  Holy Spirit of God, thank you for touching us with gentleness and patience, and kindly waiting for us as we struggle to understand the glorious world you have given us to live in.  Amen.
