O God, we celebrate with you the day of the Lord’s resurrection all members of your church. We pray that Justin, Michael, Greg, Berto and Hugh may be faithful leaders, and inspire us to be your servants in this temporal world.

O God, we pray that this nation; may those that lead it fear you and do what is right to be acceptable to you.

O God, we pray for this earth, our island home; may every leader work for peace, economic justice and a sustainable future.

O God, we pray for our precious Orcas Island and the surrounding Salish Sea; may we and our neighbors be good stewards to preserve it for future generations.

O God, we pray for all those who suffer from pain, addiction, under-employment, mental and physical illness especially those on our parish prayer list… ; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.

O God, we pray for the departed, especially victims of the Brussels attacks and those that mourn; may they be made alive in Christ.
