Lector: Lord, through Moses and Jesus, you taught us to love the Lord your God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and with all our strength. We are blessed to be led by Michael, Greg, Berto, and Hugh who set a good example for us, may they inspire us, and all members of your church, to fulfil your mission.
Lord, You are always more ready to hear than we to pray.
Lord, we pray for our President, Donald, our Governor, Jay, for the Congress and legislature, giving thanks for those that devote their lives to public service. As we cast our ballots in this election, may we make wise choices.

Lord, we give thanks for Lori and Mimi, our stewardship chairs; may we prayerfully explore intentional giving as a spiritual practice that reflects gratitude for the blessings received.
Lord, You are always more ready to hear than we to pray.
Lord, you taught us to love our neighbor as ourselves. We pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list…; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.
Lord, You are always more ready to hear than we to pray.

Presider: Lord, happy are those that obey your decrees; hear the prayers of your faithful servants of Emmanuel and inspire us to be your servants, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
