Lector: Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for your Universal Church, may supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, so your mission be fulfilled. 

Lord, hear our prayer.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for this nation, especially our President Donald, our Governor Jay and all in authority so that that no one tramples on the needy nor brings to ruin the poor of the land.

Lord, hear our prayer.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for world leaders may they make wise choices so everyone on this earth may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity.

Lord, hear our prayer.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for your creations: Orcas Island and the Salish Sea, may we enjoy their beauty, harvest their bounty and preserve them for future generations.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list…; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed and praised.  We pray for the departed including Philander Chase, the first Episcopal Bishop of Ohio and founder of Kenyon College, may we be inspired by his zeal in opening new ministries of your church.  We pray for all who mourn those who have died.
