Lector: Eternal God, we give thanks for the leadership and spiritual nourishment provided by our Presiding Bishop Michael, our Bishop Greg and our priests Berto and Hugh in these challenging times. May they guide us to live as children of light— for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we pray for our President Donald, our Congressional leaders Mitch and Nancy, our Senators Maria and Patty, and our representative Rick may they be wise leaders in these challenging times.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we pray for all national and regional leaders so that they may make wise decisions and guide their people to respond responsibly and calmly to all that they are called to do in response to the virus.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we pray and give thanks for researchers, clinicians, health care professionals including EMTs that are working tirelessly for the health of all communities and people.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we give thanks for the generosity of this island and especially our school district that has taken steps to provide breakfast and lunch for every child during the school shutdown.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit; from addiction, unemployment or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list…; surely your goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives.

Lord, you revive my soul and guide me along right pathways for your Name’s sake.

Eternal God, we pray for those near death, those who have died, and those that mourn, as they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, may they fear no evil and may your rod and your staff provide comfort.
