Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for the leaders of your church, especially Justin, Michael, Greg, Berto and Hugh as we look to them to remind us that the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for this fragile earth, our island home and pray for all people in every nation so that we learn to respect each other.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for these United States and pray for our new President and new Congress asking that they find a way to narrow our divisions.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for our beloved Orcas Island and all our neighbors and we pray for tolerance as we recognize that some of us are joyful and hopeful with having a new administration in our nation’s capital and others are sad and bitter, yet we are each your children.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for first responders, caregivers, researchers who develop vaccines, administrators, logistical workers and medical staff that administer vaccines.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment mental illness or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list…; as well as for those for whom no one prays, may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.
God, you are our refuge.
Steadfast love is yours, O Lord, we give thanks for the lives of those who have died and pray for those that mourn that they may bathed in your love.
God, you are our refuge.
