We pray to you with open hearts, together in community, and as you know each of us as your child. Lord, open us to abide in your love, and to love one another as Jesus loves us.
Here I am Lord.
Dear Lord of all, Jesus said, the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it comes through the vine. May we each carry the love of God, brought to us through the vine of Jesus. God’s love is our strength. Let us use it for good in serving our brothers and sisters. This is the purpose of your love.
Here I am Lord.
Dear Lord of all, We pray with gratitude for the love of God in this church community, for our Rector Fr. Berto, Fr. Hugh, the vestry, Karen and Lisa, Marianne and Carl, the gift of music, technology and Bill, and Agape reaching out for connection with love for each other during the Covid year of isolation.
Here I am Lord.
Lord of all, we pray for the democracy of the United States, for the equality and safety of all people. In this time of our historical racial injustice coming fully to our awareness, we pray for the opportunity of healing deep pain and fear on all sides. There is no fear in love. We pray for your Love to prevail.
For whatever is born of God conquers the world.
Thank you Lord for your bounty and beauty which surrounds us, on precious Orcas Island and the magnificent Salish Sea. We are blessed to be here. Use our faith, to act boldly to preserve the environment and climate change in the way we feel called.
We are each as one, with all living creatures on earth, sky and water. We live by your grace and love. Inspire our actions.
Lord of all, we ask your blessings for those we hold dear in our hearts. We pray for those who have passed into your eternal kingdom, and for those who are in sickness, fear and suffering of any kind, and for those we now name: and for those for whom no one prays, may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit and learn to accept your will.
Lord, we pray for your loving comfort, healing and divine peace to all.
Lord of all, we thank you for those people you have brought into our lives who bring us closer to you, and those who have shown us by their example, the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. In His name we are grateful for your abundant blessings, grace and peace.
We are the branch of God’s Love, brought to us through the vine of Jesus. Let us share it. Here we are Lord. Amen.
