Intercessor: Dearest Holy God, Lord of all heaven and earth, we pray to you with hearts longing to know your peace with equality for all.

We surrender our longing into your hands Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ.  I follow you in faith Lord.

We pray for your churches throughout the world, that your Spirit shall inspire all priests and religious leaders to speak loudly for human rights. We pray for open hearts and open minds, with love and compassion for our hurting brothers and sisters. May all priests follow you in faith and in peace for the world to heal.

May our community be a beacon of caring love and service, as taught by your son, Jesus Christ. 

Bless our beloved leaders who guide, teach and pray for us with kindness and generosity. Lift and nourish them in their spirit, mind and body Lord.  Bless our Rector Fr. Berto, Fr. Hugh, Bishop Greg, and Presiding Bishop Michael. Bless all who have sustained the mission of Emmanuel in service through the pandemic, giving themselves with love and patience. There are many.

Lord, we thank you for Emmanuel Church as a vessel of your love, sharing openly with all who hear our services online, enter our church, walk our Labyrinth, and are served through our outreach programs. Keep us as a faithful peaceful sanctuary for all, in the name of Jesus.

We pray for the United States, for our healing, and equality for the diversity of all people who make this their home. We seek your will to be done. You are the God of all.

We surrender our longing hearts into your hands Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. I follow you in faith Lord.

We pray to stop the peril of our precious earth home, the climate, air, water, forests, soil, and the animals great and small. Lead us to urgently protect the balance of your creation which sustains life. We ask the power of your will to be done, with faith in your healing power. You are the one God of all.

We pray for those in need of food, shelter, health care, mental health care, and kindness, for those in fear, or any kind of suffering. Bless those in sickness, sorrow or pain, especially those we name here : (please pray slowly)   and for those for whom no one prays, may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit. 

We ask for their longing hearts to be held in your loving hands Lord. We pray for their peace and healing, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray for all who have died, that they are in your joyous company of angels and archangels. Bless those who carry love and remembrance in their hearts.

Thank you dear Lord for our bountiful blessings, in the moments of our daily life, and as we follow Jesus for our strength and peace. May the Holy Spirit lead us through our days with gratitude and delight in your love, and as we share the ministry of your compassion, in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
