Dear Lord, Creator of all heaven and earth,
In this time we pray to you for peace, healing and assurance. We pray from the longing of our hearts to be close to you Lord, as our small world feels the pain of death and destruction of your people.
Lord, Hear our prayer. God is light and in Him there is no darkness.
Dear Lord, in the face of evil we pray for the resilience of the Ukraine, and the world coming together in loving support. May the power of your constant love overcome and release the fears of all nations under attack.
Lord, Hear our prayer. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness.
Dear Lord, as we seek our personal closeness to you, lead us in our transition during this Lent, and the transition of the world. We pray for healing and wholeness.
Lord, it is in the humble journey of Jesus to become the savior of the world, that we have faith in his sacrifice for us. We ask for your blessings in His name.
Bless and guide our Presiding Bishop Michael, Bishop Gregory, Fr. Berto, Fr. Hugh, our Vestry, the Agape team, Bill and Margie, Karen, and all who bring their vitality to your service through the community of Emmanuel.
Lord, we are grateful for this church family. Bless each person, seen and unseen, in their service with hearts full of your Holy Spirit.
Dear Lord, We pray for your courageous angels serving in the world, for volunteers creating food banks, farmers donating food, the medical and rescue teams, citizens of courage and purpose coming forth, nations taking in refugees. We see the message of Jesus all around us.
Lord, protect the vulnerable, the frightened, those in danger, sickness, pain, the homeless, the hungry, and those who help them with kind hearts.
We pray for the children and families overwhelmed by burdens, and for our neighbors. Bless each one, as you know our needs.
We pray especially for those in our hearts and those we name here:
Lord, we are one family in the light of your love. In God there is no darkness.
We pray for the healing of our natural environment, the earth, air and water, the animals, large and small. We pray for those people entrusted with making urgent policies for the changing climate. Make each nation bold in conscious actions, with restoring a healthy climate above profit.
Lord, inspire us to show forth in our lives, what we profess by our faith.
We pray for those who have died, that they are tenderly in your care, enfolded in your love.
Lord, may the grace and love of Lord Jesus be with them, and in our hearts.
We pray to use the gifts you have blessed us with, to carry Jesus into our daily life. We pray to follow our heart where you lead us, serving where you show us the need, with the joy of your loving kindness.
We are your grateful children Lord. We are one family in the light of your love. In God there is no darkness.
Gracious God of all, creator of our being, thank you for the quiet place you give us to listen to you. We pray to share with each other the love you offer freely. And we follow our savior Jesus with faith in His undying love for us. Amen.
