Intercessor: Oh Beloved Creator—On this Trinity Sunday we come before you with renewed praise and
adoration. You give us so much. Help us to more fully experience you through your many
expressions—as Creator, in all the children of the world, and in the Holy Spirit.
Oh Sacred Trinity, open wide our hearts that we may receive your truth and more fully embrace
Divine Wisdom.

We are profoundly blessed in the leadership we have in this church. We pray for Berto on his
retreat and Hugh, as he fulfills many of Berto’s responsibilities; support them in the special
tasks they are undertaking at this present time. We thank you for all our spiritual leaders, including our Bishop Greg, and Presiding Bishop Michael, who continually inspire and guide us on wisdom’s path.

Oh Sacred Trinity, open wide our hearts that we may receive your truth and more fully embrace Divine Wisdom.

We remember all those in leadership throughout the world, and pray that they recognize and embrace
your will. Blessings and prayers go to our Governor Jay, our President Joe, and Vice President
Kamala, and all those with whom they work. Help all to be illumined by your sacred wisdom. Guide
world leaders who are waging war to a true change of heart.
Oh Sacred Trinity, open wide our hearts that we may receive your truth and more fully embrace
Divine Wisdom.

For all those who have suffered injustice, we do deeply pray. We pray for heartbroken parents,
elders, siblings and all others affected by ongoing shootings in our country. Help teachers and
caregivers to have the resources they need to fulfill their sacred work. Help those whose
fascination with weapons causes their misuse. Help heal those whose race or gender identification
isolates them from the knowledge that they are loved. We pray for the mentally ill and the
disenfranchised Indigenous peoples of every nation.
Oh Sacred Trinity, open wide our hearts that we may receive your truth and more fully embrace
Divine Wisdom.

We pray for the physical world and its many species, remembering that every bit of creation is
part of the sacred expression of your love. Help us to take better care of it. We pray for
the sick and the lonely those on our Parish Prayer List (pause)… Challen… Judy & Doug… Lindalena &
Jim… Ingrid… Stephen… Jon… the Class family… Luka… Becky… Sara… Evelyn… Lorinda… Zach… Effie,
Stephen, and Calder… Margaret… Lisa… Fred… Elyse… Jan… Steve & Nancy… Carl… the Cook family… Bill… Audrey… and those for whom no one prays; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.

We offer our mutual support through prayer for the special intentions of everyone here (pause to
name silently or aloud).
Oh Sacred Trinity, open wide our hearts that we may receive your truth and more fully embrace
Divine Wisdom.

And we pray for all who are saddened by the death of a loved one. May we all be aware of your
comforting presence as we go forward. Help us to remember that whether we face hard decisions or
difficult work, disappointment, laughter and joy, that you are always with us. In Jesus’ name we
pray. Amen.

Let us pray for those celebrating birthdays this week:
O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on your servants Lynn Baker (6/14),
Sally Elliman (6/15), Tammy Myers (6/15), Marilyn Parman (6/15) as they begin another year. Grant
that they may grow in wisdom and grace, and strengthen their trust in your goodness all the days of
their lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Let us pray for those celebrating anniversaries this week: Grant, O God, in your compassion, that
Jim & Lindalena Dingman (6/12) and Tom & Diane Keller-Batter (6/14), having taken each other in
marriage, and affirming again the covenant which they have made, may grow in forgiveness, loyalty,
and love; and come at last to the eternal joys which yo have promised through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen.
