Eternally mysterious God, we give thanks for your church and especially our leaders, Michael, Melissa, Berto and Hugh. They are blessed though they have not seen, they have come to believe and inspire us to believe what we have not seen.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we give thanks for these United States and pray that our leaders put aside differences and govern wisely.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we pray for peace throughout the world and especially in the Ukraine, 9993Ethiopia, Myanmar, and the South China Sea.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we give thanks for these precious islands in the Salish Sea. We pray that we have the wisdom to be good stewards of Orcas Island especially as we welcome spring.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment, mental illness or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list… and for those for whom no one prays; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we give thanks for the lives of those near death and those who have died. We ask that you welcome them with angels and give comfort to those that stand watch and those that mourn.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
Eternally mysterious God, we give thanks for the ministries of Damien and Marianne, who ministered to the lepers abandoned on Molokai in the Hawaiian Islands. Help us, following their examples, to be bold and loving in confronting the incurable plagues of our time, that we may live in health and hope.
Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you.
