Shepherd Lord, our hearts are open to the promise that those suffering violence in Ukraine, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America might find comfort in green pastures and still waters. Lead them away from the valleys of death.

Shepherd Lord, grant that we might hear your voice and know who calls us. Open our hearts and minds to your goodness and to your craving for our goodness. Let your church be witness to the love in your heart.
