God, You are the Alpha and the Omega, we give thanks for the precious earth, home to billions of our fellow people. We pray for diplomacy rather than war and compassionate care for those innocents in harm’s way. As Christ loved us. We walk in love.

God, You are the Alpha and the Omega, we give thanks for the beauty of our beloved Orcas Island and the surrounding Salish sea.  We pray for the wisdom to be good stewards of this land and water.  As Christ loved us. We walk in love.

God, You are the Alpha and the Omega, we give thanks for all volunteers during this stewardship season as we receive our pledges. We pray that fellow islanders that are looking for a Thanksgiving meal and fellowship join us this Thursday. We give thanks for those that prepare the food, host the meal and cleanup for sharing their time and talent. As Christ loved us. We walk in love.

We pray for all those who suffer from addiction, illness, injury, and pain, as well as those challenged through lack of adequate housing, employment, or food especially those on our parish prayer list….. as well as those for whom no one prays.  As Christ loved us. We walk in love.

God, You are the Alpha and the Omega, we give thanks for the lives of the departed. We pray that they know your love and that the Holy Spirit provides comfort and strength to caregivers and those that mourn. As Christ loved us. We walk in love.
