Healing, divine love: our hearts are filled with gratitude for the fact that our individual paths have brought us to this place, this island, this church community where we share a bond based on love. May we continue to grow in love and wisdom as we walk our paths together.

Healing, divine love: in this time of fear, anger and for some, despair, may we each look to Love to know what our task is. May we find inner strength to not give into helplessness and find ways to make a difference. May those who govern do so with humility and wisdom.

Healing, divine, love: this earth is our home. It is filled with wonders and has given us life. May we be conscious of our footprints on it and care for it as it deserves.

Healing, divine, love: we think of those people we know personally and those we don’t know who struggle daily with insurmountable needs for physical and mental health, adequate housing and employment, financial stability, and freedom from addiction. We hold them in our hearts and pray for their strength. We name them now silently… and we pray for those on our parish prayer list…  as well as those for whom no one prays; may they be touched by Love. [silence]
