Oh Holy One, our hearts are full of gratitude for our
priests, Berto and Hugh, our Bishop, Phillip, our presiding bishop,
Sean, Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah, and the many spiritual
leaders throughout the world who uphold and model the way of
truth, wisdom, and true hospitality. We are most grateful
for their thoughtful and dynamic guidance and we pray that they
are able to continue their inspiring leadership in good health for
many years to come.
Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners.

Oh Holy One, We are filled with deep concern for the earth and
every precious being. May we treat all of your creation with
tenderness and appreciation. Bring lasting peace to troubled lands.
Inspire in us the desire to give much and to ask for little.

Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners.

Oh, Holy One, we pray that the governments of this world seek
cooperation over domination and act out of wisdom rather than
fear. May they enact policies that uphold the dignity and value of
each human life and that protect our mother earth as she sustains
us. We pray that we recognize and support candidates who
exemplify the characteristics that build healthy and harmonious
communities.
Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners.

Oh, Holy One, we pray for the safety and delight of our
community and its many visitors during the 4th of July. Help us to
welcome them with open hearts and arms so that they share fully
in our common life while they are here. Inspire us to find ways to
implement our nation’s faith in liberty and justice.
Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners.

Help those in need of housing, and those who struggle with racial
injustice, mental illness, and physical disabilities. Keep all
immigrants in your loving care, and remind us to honor those
who lived in this land from time immemorial and on whose
enduring welcome our nation depends.
Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners.

Let us pray for all those on our Parish Prayer List…And
together let us join in prayer silently or aloud, for concerns or
individuals not yet mentioned and those for whom no one
prays. Pause
Oh Holy One, our hearts ache for those who have gone on before
us including Ida Rae, Darleen Kent, Catherine Pederson and
Marguerite Olson. Our love and care go out to those who are left
behind. May good memories bring solace.
Bless us all and keep us steadfast as we shine light into the
darkest corners. AMEN
