Dear Lord God of all,
In the brief time of our amazing life, hold us in this moment of knowing
that we are one with You God, the creator of all that is.
We pray that You will bring us closer to You when we have doubts and
uncertainty. We ask for Your strength and guidance in our daily life.
We pray for those who live in fear, danger, hunger, homelessness or loss
of family and loved ones.
We pray for all the world’s people to care for one another against the
face of violence, war and separation from home.
We pray for all people and creatures, great and small, in need of your
comfort, protection and healing, especially those on our parish prayer
list: Chris, John, John Michael, Melia, Rosa, Theresa, Victoria, Bruce
Birke, Stuart Evans, Addie, William McCarthy, Caroline Yarnall, Jeff,
Alex, Peggy Garcia, Tim Forbes, Phil Greenawalt, Joe Carney, Jan, Bill,
Arjean Filmer-Bennett, Larry and family, Autumn, Melanie, Jan Wells,
Bob, Jim, Kathy Bogie, Mary Myers, Ginny Lou Woods, Steve Miller and
family, Sugi Rose, Marguerite Olson and bBless those helping hands who
care lovingly for others.
We pray that we may use the gifts You have chosen for each of us, in
service to others.
We pray for all who have died, especially Laura Eagan, that they are
shining in the glory of Your Heaven, rich with the blessings we ask for
them.
We know in our stillness, the comfort brought by the Holy Spirit
cradling our sadness.
Bless all people, the animals, oceans, rivers, lakes, air, plants and forests,
earth and sky.
Your creation is greater than we can know. Teach us to care for it with
conscious effort and gratitude.
We celebrate the work of the Search Committee and Vestry in choosing
Berto as our new rector, and in Berto choosing us…. A match made in
Heaven. And we are grateful for the opportunity of experiencing
wonderful guest priests who have brought new perspectives and lessons
for us during this interim period.
Thank you Lord for the efforts of many people, in keeping our church
vital in our mission of service to others, through Jesus Christ. We seek
to be a very caring community, open to all people.
Celebrant:
We pray for Blessings on Your people present here today, and those
whom we carry in our hearts. In the name of Jesus Christ we are Blessed
