See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation.  So, we pray for your church to have holiness of spirit, genuine love and truthful speech to reveal the power of God.

Our heart is wide open to you, Lord.

We pray for these United States that all our leaders may be just, so citizens will not have to endure beatings or riot for justice.

Our heart is wide open to you, Lord.

We pray for this fragile earth, our island home, and all who reside here that they may not endure calamities, unjust imprisonment or be in harm’s way.

Our heart is wide open to you, Lord.

We pray for our Orcas Island community as we celebrate the arrival of summer today, may we be patient and kind to our summer visitors as they share the beauty you have created here.

Our heart is wide open to you a, Lord.

We pray for all who endure afflictions, hardships, sleepless nights or hunger especially those on our parish prayer list….  may they be aware of the comfort that your Holy Spirit offers.

Our heart is wide open to you, Lord.

We pray for the repose of the souls of the departed and for those that mourn.

Our heart is wide open to you, Lord.

Presider: O Lord, as you listen to the fervent prayers of we your servants, know that we have commended ourselves to you and are filled with awe of you and your creation, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
