We seek you Eternal God, and you answer us.
Eternal God, may the leaders of this nation and state, Donald and Jay, work with Congress and the Legislature to protect us, deliver us from terror, and guide us to live in peace as they remember that blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy and blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
We seek you Eternal God, and you answer us.
Eternal God, may the leaders of all nations find the path of peace rather than road to war, so all people will hunger no more, and thirst no more.
We seek you Eternal God, and you answer us.
Eternal God, may we care for our precious Orcas Island, the bountiful Salish Sea and be good stewards of the land as we prepare it for not only winter but for future generations.
We seek you Eternal God, and you answer us.
Eternal God, remind those that suffer in body, mind or spirit to taste and see that the LORD is good; happy are they who trust in you. We pray for those we now name, either silently or aloud (pause) and especially those we now name…(prayer list)
