Loving Spirit that connects us all, we come together to
listen and understand what is truly important: that we love one
another just as Christ has loved us.
May we know this in our hearts and minds.
Loving Spirit that connects us all, we are grateful for our church,
Emmanuel, for Berto and Hugh, whom we are blessed to have as
our priests, and for each person here, parishioners and visitors
alike.
May we love one another as Christ has loved us.
Loving Spirit that connects us all, we pray for the newly elected
Pope Leo XIV. May he continue to be a voice for social justice
and peace and lead the Catholic Church with wisdom.
May we love one another as Christ has loved us.
Loving Spirit that connects us all, we are faced with the
impossible task of holding in our hearts the people of the whole
world, from our neighbor next door, to immigrants seeking a better

and safer life, and to our fellow human beings who are
exposed daily to war and man-made famine. May we reach beyond
our comfort zones to help in any way we can.
May we love one another as Christ has loved us.
Loving Spirit that connects us all, we hold in our heart those who
suffer from sickness, family discord, mental illness, homelessness,
addiction, unemployment, or depression. We name them now,
either silently or aloud (pause)…and also those on our parish
prayer list…and for those
for whom no one prays, may they be comforted by the Loving
Spirit that connects us all.
May we love one another as Christ has loved us.
Loving Spirit that connects us all, we remember those who have
died and those who mourn them. May we find meaningful ways to
comfort them, knowing that the journey of grief is different for
each person.
May we love one another as Christ has loved us.
