Dear Lord, who nurtures us with love, we open our
hearts to you in prayer, every day of the week. May your churches
throughout the world be inspired and guided to action for
righteousness, justice and compassion, in this urgent time of
need, through your Holy Spirit.
Lord of love and mercy, bless each one of us in healing our
own infirmities, to bear the fruit of compassion and justice,
in service to others, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord who nurtures with love, bless all who enter this church, may
they find restoration in the beauty of this place of peace, with

Lord of great kindness, bring resolution to the world crisis of
migrant people, seeking safety for their families, fleeing from
danger, war and atrocities. Make all nations see the danger of
destruction from weapons at the hands of anger and hatred as
rotten grapes. We pray for your hand to be on the hearts of all
leaders, to align with your will.
Lord of Power and Might, make us leaders for peace in the
world, with justice for all people. Let our light rise in the
darkness. Make us as strong as your fruitful vines in the
protection of your garden.
Lord of Love, Comfort the prisoners and captives, the hungry
and homeless, and all who suffer in body, mind or spirit. Bless
each fruitful care giver who is a blessing to others, the Food Bank,
Resource Center, and OPAL housing. We pray for each person in
need of your healing and peace, whether from illness, pain, loss or
addiction, especially those we name now: …and for those whom no one prays.
Lord of loving kindness, bring faith and hope to all who need your compassion and protection, healing and peace. We are all your children.
We pray for the natural world environment, clean air, water,
forests, ice caps and oceans. We pray for your protection of the
orchards you have given us. May we be fruitful to stand up
for what is right and just in caring for them.
Lord of Power and Might, give all nations the wisdom, will
and purpose to intentionally conserve this good earth to be
fruitful in your honor.
We pray for the helping professionals and volunteers who put
themselves at risk to serve others, in the rapidly changing climate,
flooding and weather events.
Lord of Power and Might, protect and sustain these
righteous men and women, and all who serve for the good of
others.
For those who have died. May they be joyfully shining in your
heavenly light.
Bless the grieving loved ones. Hold them close in your
comfort and peace dear Lord.
Lord of compassion and mercy, nourish us with your eternal
goodness. Graft in our hearts the love of your name, with all our
soul, and all that is within us..
