O God of hosts, we give thanks to our God always for Justin, Michael, Greg, Berto and Hugh because of the grace of God that has been given each of them in Christ Jesus. May they inspire us to remember that when we welcome the stranger and feed the hungry, we welcome and feed you, O Lord.

O God of hosts, in this season of Advent as we await the coming of your Son, bring comfort to those that live in harm’s way, as well as prisoners and refugees, help leaders find the path to peace rather than war, so all may live in peace without hunger or disease.
