Dear Lord, God of Heaven and Earth,

We come to you in prayer, each in our own way.   We are gathered in this beautiful church, Emmanuel, on this rock by your ocean
waters of the Salish Sea.
Lord, We are grateful for the earth, sky, sea, animals, plants and  the balance of nature in your interactive world. Teach us to be  informed conscious stewards of your creation.

As one  person, we are gifted with your blessings. As we come together  in community,  we are gifted with the power of sharing your Love. As we read the  lessons of the Bible,  we join the voices of your churches around the world.
Lord we are grateful for this house of worship and our larger community.

We pray for Justin, Archbishop of Canterbury, Katharine, our Presiding Bishop,  Greg, our Bishop, Berto, our Priest, Stewart and George, our Wardens,  and our Vestry.    Lord, bless Bishop David of El Salvador, with all priests and leaders of your church, that your will is spoken and those who hear will be inspired to serve others as ministers of your Word.
That they may be nourished and guided by your Love and Grace.

We pray for our President, Barack, and all world leaders.
That basic Human Rights may be observed in every land, with freedom  from terror and persecution.

We pray for all who suffer and struggle, for the homeless, hungry, sick, and those in danger or grief.
That your peace may come to them, and we may do your will to help others.

We pray for the needs of each of us, and those known only to you, and especially for those on our Parish Prayer list:
Lord, we ask for your healing and peace.

We remember those who have died.
We celebrate their place with you Lord.

Presider:  We come to you in prayer Lord, each in our own way. We are grateful  for each person here today, in this community of our Holy time together. Lead us to be of service with our minds, hearts and actions, knowing the joy of following our Savior and
teacher, Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.   Amen.
