Good Shepherd, we pray for your church, we give thanks for our Rector, Berto and ask that we learn to be shepherds rather than hired hands.

Good Shepherd, we pray for this precious earth, our island home and all children, especially those in harm’s way, may they find comfort in knowing You and us, your followers.

Good Shepherd, we pray for wisdom to be good stewards of Orcas Island and the surrounding waters and to be good neighbors to those in need.  We give thanks for Dinner Kitchen and Food Bank Lunch volunteers.

Good Shepherd, we pray for all those who suffer in mind, body or spirit as well as those in the valley of the shadow of death; comfort them and especially those on our parish prayer list:

Good Shepherd, we pray for those who have died, especially victims of genocide and terrorism as well as those that mourn.  We give thanks for the ministry and life of the Rev. Wray MacKay who died one year ago this coming week; may his memory inspire us to be your faithful servants.
