Dearest lord, the earth is full of your glory! These great United States, diverse in landscape, culture, and people, might be your city on the hill if we can truly learn to love one another. Help us to love our neighbor as ourselves, every moment, no matter the di?culty.

Dearest lord, the earth is full of your glory. Help us to recognize and honor di?erences across the social order. To include the poor in body and spirit, the orphan, widow, and immigrant in our prayers and attention. In your love, everyone is exalted.
