Dear Mother, Father God, We come to you with our hearts open in prayer, as a community in worship, and as you know each one of us as your child.
Lord, may we draw your love through us, to serve those in need.
Thank you Lord, for all those who serve you through this church, for the many hands and hearts who keep Emmanuel thriving in your name.
In one body we have many members, each with different gifts from you Lord.
With gratitude we pray for the community of Orcas Island, for our friends, family and those whose needs you know.
Lord, we pray for your will to be done, and for us to serve and love one another, as your son, Jesus Christ loves us.
We pray for our country, for your hand to resolve the political turmoil. We ask for our President and Congress to discern what is the will God. We pray for wise leadership and healing, for the welfare of this nation, the world, and the highest good for all people.
Lord, we pray for your guidance and inspiration, for the soul and spirit of this nation, with your hand upon the hearts of our citizens and leaders.
Presider: Lord, thank you for those people you have brought into our lives who bring us closer to you. Let us live each day with the message of our Savior Jesus Christ as our purpose. In His name we are grateful for your abundant blessings, grace and peace. Lead us in sharing these with others. We pray with the power of your love in the name of your son Jesus. Amen.
