Lector: In gratitude for your divine guidance, Beloved Father-Mother Creator of all that is, we come before you now and ask that peace and wisdom flood our hearts just as your radiant being overwhelmed the disciples so many years ago.

Lord hear our prayer.

We ask that blessings and wisdom fill the daily lives of ourselves, our families, friends, neighbors, those who are alone, our nation and the entire world

Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for our priests and teachers and all those to whom we look for guidance, including Berto and Hugh our pastors, Michael our Presiding Bishop, Greg, our Bishop, and all other spiritual leaders throughout the world.

Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for and express gratitude for the farmers and all those who work with the land, and who care for the livestock, and thank them for their attention to the health and balance of your creation. We thank the animals for their gifts of food and we ask that crops may be abundant, and that rain fall as needed.

Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for the world’s leaders that they may guide nations into making good choices to secure peace for the world and health for the planet and its creatures.

Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for all who are participating in our church’s summer camp— both adults and children. May all have a wonderful time; may all learn useful and inspiring things in honor of your Holy Creation.

Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for all the guests visiting the island and hope their travels are safe.

Lord, hear our prayer.

And Beloved Creator, we know that the Resurrection could not occur without the Crucifixion. Please give us the grace to endure what must be endured—whether through injury, ill health or troubled heart–knowing that the day will come when we, too, will come to know the true glory of Creation. Help us to see your love in all those for whom we care and  o forgive those who have wounded us. May the morning star rise in the hearts of all those for whom we now pray most wholeheartedly, especially for…

We also pray for all those who have recently died and their families.

Please feel free to add any other petition you may wish to make–silently or aloud.

Lector & People: Hear us O Lord, for we trust that your wisdom and mercy abound everywhere. We are your grateful children. Help us to be open to all that is good and to serve you and each other through your unbounded grace.

Presider: Thank you again and again for the grace that you bring us.

In raiment white and radiant we look forward to the time when we too

may hear your voice coming from the holy mountain, may our doings please you…Let us learn to be lamps shining in the  darkness…May we heed your voice as you try to speak with us. May we proclaim your greatness through our actions, our prayers, even our sleep. Help us to discern what is right and to fulfill your highest vision for the creation of which we are all a part. Amen.
