Beloved Mystery, Great One beyond knowing from
whom all things are made…we thirst for you, even as we know
you are here with us, in the smoldering fires, the gentle rain, and
all creatures—those who worship you and those who do not yet
know you. We love you and thank you for our life on this
beautiful planet and desire deeply to live in accordance with
Christ’s teachings.

Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

We are thankful for and pray for the well-being of our dear
Fathers Berto and Hugh, our Bishop Greg, who will be visiting us
this week, and spiritual leaders everywhere. Keep them all safe and
let them not be disheartened or exhausted in their commitments
to serve the faithful and the greater world.
Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

We pray for political leaders. May they not be confused, and may
they seek the highest good for all, recognizing that we are interconnected and dependent upon this shared earth for our
existence.
Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

May the victims of war be safely reunited with loved ones. We
pray that frightened memories be subdued, and that the bereaved
may find lasting comfort in your presence. May the needs of
victims of natural disasters be met. We pray for the brave young
women of Iran and all who support them in resisting tyranny and
oppression.
Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

And we pray for all affected by domestic violence—women, and
men. And children. Let all violent impulses be healed. Release
these pour souls from the frightening isolation that often
underlies abuse. Let minor violence—the need to feel ourselves
better and more valued than others—be extinguished in the
certain knowledge that there is abundant love for all, everywhere

Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

May we gladly celebrate and encourage everyone’s gifts in true
expressions of gratitude. Again we offer prayers and thanks to all
who have contended in different ways through this time of
pandemic…especially now, we pray for the healing of those
struggling with Covid’s aftermath, including those suffering from
long Covid, educational setbacks, income shortfalls, and other
consequences of quarantine and lockdown. Help us to find and
listen to you in every situation.
Let us heed Christ’s message and follow His teaching
without hesitation.

Together, we call on you with all our hearts as we pray for the
members of our church, who are always dear to us, and whose
needs are foremost in our minds (pause)… and those for
whom no one prays, may they be comforted by your Holy
Spirit.
Please take a few moments to add any special concerns not yet
mentioned that you may have (silently or aloud).
You are our God. Our time is in your hands. Lead us to use
it in service with love. Bless those you have given us to carry
in our hearts
