Lord, we give thanks for your church as well as all who know you as they have seen a great light. We ask that your Spirit be with our leaders, Michael, Melissa, Berto and Hugh that they may inspire those that walk in darkness to see the light and help us to fulfill your mission.

Lord, we give thanks for the beauty of Orcas island and the surrounding Salish Sea. We ask that you give us the desire, skills and wisdom to be good stewards of this precious portion of your creation.

Lord, we give thanks for our lay parish leaders as well as all parishioners who give their time, talent and treasure, for without their work and donations we could not worship you so beautifully.

Lord, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment, mental illness or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list… those for whom no one prays; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.
