Dear Lord, We pray for the world, and for your Holy Spirit to direct and guide us according to your will, as we face the atrocities of wars, racial violence, weather catastrophes, fires, floods and earthquakes, and our own limitations in overcoming them.

Dear Lord, In our weakness, lift us up to the guidance of your Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord of Power and Might, who opened the Red Sea for Moses to lead the Israelites
to safety, we bring our weakness to your strength, in the name of Jesus Christ. Where there is fear and oppression, let us serve with faith and courage, to know your peace.

Dear Lord., Direct our hearts to share your love with compassion in all ways, with gratitude for your son Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord of Power and Might, We pray for all people who suffer danger, fear, famine, homelessness, and turmoil. We long to be instruments of your love in creating peace in the world. Let us not be timid to speak and act accordingly. 

Dear Lord, Direct and rule our hearts to share your love with compassion, in all ways, with gratitude for your son Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord of Power and Might, We pray for your churches and ministers, that they may be blessed as powerful leaders of example, strength and purpose in your service. We pray with deep gratitude for our priests, Fr. Berto and Fr. Hugh, for Bishop Melissa, and especially our healing prayer for Presiding Bishop Michael, as he undergoes surgery this week.. 

Our faith is in the name of the Lord

We pray for this island community, for the children and their creative teachers in this new school year, for those in transition, those carrying burdens and for our neighbors we have not met. Bless each as you know their need.   

Dear Lord., Direct and rule our hearts to share your love with compassion in all ways, with gratitude for your son Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord of Power and Might, We pray for our planet earth, and for bravery and wisdom of world leaders to quickly take responsibility for achieving drastic change from the destructive pollution of the earth environment.

Dear Lord, In our weakness, lift us up to know the way to respect your creation.

We pray for those who have died, for those suffering illness, pain, insecurity and loss, especially those on our parish prayer list: 
and for those we carry in our hearts.

Dear Lord., Direct our hearts to share your love with compassion in all ways, with gratitude for your son Jesus Christ

Let us each use the gifts you have blessed us with, to carry the spirit of Jesus into our daily life. With the Holy Spirit as our guide, let us do the work you lead us to, giving ourselves in service to others, as you intend.

Dear Lord, Direct our hearts to share your love with compassion in all ways, with gratitude for your son Jesus Christ.

Gracious Mother-Father God, creator of our being, who loves us each beyond our knowing, open our hearts to the fullness of your grace. Lead us one thought at a time, to be at peace with one another, and with our earth. Teach us to live sustainably in the world, with your guidance and grace. 

Our faith and gratitude is in the Name of the Lord, the Light of our world. Amen
