Dear God of all, we pray with gratitude for your constant love Let us each know in our heart, that you love us. You have created us. Thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, teaching us how to be in this world in love and service.

How priceless is your love O God. In your light we see light. May the Holy Spirit be in us like a dove of peace.

We thank you for our church Emmanuel. Thank you for our mission to love God and God’s creation, and our neighbors as ourselves. Bless our very beloved priests Berto and Hugh, our Provisional Bishop Melissa, and our Presiding Bishop Michael.

We pray for those who serve in your name Lord, may they be blessed and inspired by your Holy Spirit.

We pray for peace in the world in these times of chaos and trial, which are difficult for us to comprehend. Your love is our strength. Bless the thousands of refugees, the victims of wars, earthquakes, and those in frightening circumstances, whose families are homeless, hungry, and fearful.

Let each heart know your peace, for your love is the answer and the way. Bring safety and caring, food and water to those in need. Bless and protect those who put themselves in harms way to serve and save others. Be with them Lord.

We pray for the United States, our President and decision makers, that in this time of turmoil and division, they may be filled with the Holy Spirit, to make right decisions for the good of all people, and with consciousness for the health of your earthly creation.

Let each heart know your peace, for your love is the answer and the way. Lord, you are the power for all.

For the earth and its abundant bounty, we pray for the power of active world consciousness, policies and use of resources in protection of your natural order, which sustains us all.

Lord, in your light we see light. Bring us your Holy Spirit in restoring the earth, air and oceans, as we live together in the same world.

We pray for the needs of each of us, as you know us Lord, and especially for those who struggle with addiction, pain, hunger, loneliness, homelessness, and those we name here:

How priceless is your love O God. We are each your child. In your light we see light.

For the mystery of our after life, hold each of us in your eternal love, along with those who have passed before us. Let us remember them with peace in our heart.

How priceless is your love O God. In your light we see light. With gratitude we pray.

We are grateful for your daily miracles in our lives. We ask every heart to behold your blessings. May we each use the gifts of the Spirit which are given to us for sharing your love. Our teacher in service is Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

How priceless is your love O God. In your light we see light. With gratitude we pray. Amen.

Precious Lord, you heal the broken-hearted and bind up the wounds of the injured. Be with those suffering illness and injury, anger and fear, confusion and depression. Be with the recently passed and their broken-hearted families. Be with the precious friends and family we now name (pause), including those on our prayer list:  (please read slowly) … and for those for whom no one prays; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit. Lord, we petition your love and grace in the new year.
