Precious Lord, grant us your peace. We pray for the end of war and suffering. We pray for peace for the peoples of Israel, Gaza, and Ukraine. We pray for the end of war, forever, worldwide.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Precious Lord, we give thanks to you for our loving parish, Emmanuel. Inspire and energize us to be compassionate lights in our community. We thank you for our priests, Berto and Hugh, and for our lay leaders who serve so graciously. Be with Berto and Hugh as they grieve the loss of their beloved Ava.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Precious Lord, we know that knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. Suffuse the leaders and peoples of our nation with love supreme. Cleanse us from righteous opinion so that we can look at and listen to each other with hearts filled with love.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Precious Lord, In compassionate love, let us respectfully serve those suffering homelessness, hunger, fear, oppression and insecurity, especially the immigrant families at our southern border and around the world.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Precious Lord, you make your marvelous works to be remembered. We praise you and thank you for our beautiful home, Earth, and we vow to protect it as the precious gift it is.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Precious Lord, we pray your healing love for those suffering sickness, injury, sadness, anger, confusion, and despair. We pray your compassion for the recently departed and their broken-hearted families and friends. Be with the beloved friends and the family members we now name (pause), including those on our parish prayer list: We ask that you especially be with those for whom no one prays, so that they do not feel alone.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
