Holy and Eternal One, we give thanks for your church and our leaders Michael, Melissa, Berto and Hugh. May our faith and their words bless our community with compassion and grace that we may serve one another with deference and respect.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.

Holy and Eternal One, we give thanks for these United States, especially our state of Washington and Orcas island. Guide our nation and inspire all who hold authority in the world to be servants of healing, casting out all forms of oppression throughout your creation.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.

Holy and Eternal One, we give thanks for every human being on earth. Reach out and lift up all who suffer from illness or fear, violence or threat, that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.

Holy and Eternal One, we give thanks for the return of the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and the presence of Christina in our community.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.

Holy and Eternal One, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, from addiction, unemployment, mental illness or homelessness, particularly those we now name either silently or aloud, (pause) and especially for those on our parish prayer list… those for whom no one prays; may they be comforted by your Holy Spirit.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.

Holy and Eternal One, we give thanks for those who have died and those that have cared for them. Enfold them into your eternal love.

Great is our God and mighty in powers; there is no limit to God’s wisdom.
