Source of All That Is, we give thanks for the beauty of the earth and sky and stars, the rivers and lakes and mountains, for all living creatures too numerous to name. It is too wonderful to fathom. We can only feel humbled and fall to our knees.

Source of All That Is, we hold in our hearts the people of Nepal and Tibet, as well as the people from many countries that have been affected by the sudden glacial flash floods causing hundreds of deaths and destruction. May we seek to understand and to find ways to help.
May we humble ourselves so that our eyes may be opened.
Source of All That Is, we pray that our nation and its leaders will make care for all people the primary goal when policies are discussed and decisions made.

Source of All That Is, we think of those in the world who are living in danger at the hands of others. May those in power exchange hatred for compassion and change their acts of war to acts of peace.

We are thankful for our Emmanuel community, our priests Berto and Hugh, and the leaders in the larger church. May we continue to dig deep to understand how to be one with all.
