We present ourselves with pure and clean hearts as we pray to the Lord saying: Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For all descendants of Abraham, that we all may be faithful members to fulfil your mission on earth.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For Barack, our President, Jay, our Governor and all in authority, may their actions be pleasing to you.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For the safety of all people, especially those in danger of war, terrorism, or plague that those in peril may join others in protecting this precious Earth.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For this island community, may we act to preserve this precious Salish Sea.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For the twelfth man, may they be inspired by good sportsmanship.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For this parish, especially our children, their parents and those that attend the meeting later this morning, may they be aware of your Spirit as they develop a children’s ministry.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For all those who suffer especially those on our Parish Prayer List, may they be relieved from their distress and healed.

Lord God of Hosts, hear our prayer.

For those who are dying, may you dismiss your servants in peace.

For those who have died in hope of the resurrection and those who morn, let us pray to the Lord.
