Dear Mother, Father, God of our creation and salvation, we come to you in prayer.  For your churches of many names throughout the world, may they be inspired by your Holy Spirit to serve others.

Lord of Power and Might, every generous act of giving is from above. 

Bless these United States, our President, and those who make decisions for this country and the world. We pray for your hand to be on their hearts and minds.

Lord of Power and Might, make us leaders for peace in the world and equality for all people.   

Comfort prisoners and captives, the hungry and the homeless, and all who su?er in body, mind and spirit. Bless and restore all who remember and care for them, as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord of Power and Might, bring faith and hope to all who need your compassion and  protection.

We pray for your gift of the natural world we depend on: clean air and water, the Boreal forests, the ice caps and oceans. We pray to keep them as you intend in you perfect creation.

Lord of Power and Might, give al nations the wisdom and the will to conserve this good earth you honor.

For the lives and safety of all ?re ?ghters, professionals and volunteers putting themselves at risk to control the ?res in Washington and Canada.

Lord of power and Might, protect and sustain these men and woman in their call to service and all who serve the good of others.

For those who have died. May they be joyfully shining in your heavenly light.

Lord of Power and Might, nourish us with your eternal goodness. Craft in our hearts the love of your name
