Let us join with believers of all faiths and call upon our God to bless and protect all that is lovely in this world.

For the church: for those who have answered God’s call; for those who live simply in community; for Christian families; for all who live their lives by the light of the Gospel … we pray, God hear our prayer.

For an end to all that creates darkness in this world: for the eradication of war, injustice, poverty and disease … we pray, God hear our prayer.

For the Church in its many forms and varieties; may we seek diversity and unity so that God’s face may be seen in many forms… we pray, God hear our prayer.

For those struggling to find their true calling in this world: for those seeking meaningful work; for those who are facing difficult changes; for those who are frightened for their future … we pray, God hear our prayer.

We remember those who have died.  For those we love and miss; for those who are mourning the passing of a dear one; and for those who die with no one to pray for them, we pray … God hear our prayer.

For this community as we gather at our annual meeting.  May we be open to each other and to our future…we pray, God hear our prayer.

For all those who play sports that they may show a true sense of sportsmanship so that all may rejoice in our games…we pray, God hear our prayer.

Celebrant:  Loving God, Creator of all life, you promise to be with us when we gather in your name and call upon you. Hear our prayers this day for a world, a community, a family and a heart that welcomes your presence. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
