Oh Holy Creator: On this Trinity Sunday we thank you for the vital and heartwarming presence of our Episcopal Church here in these three islands: Grace on Lopez, St David’s on San Juan, and Emmanuel on Orcas. We pray for their pastors The Rev. Peter Smart and The Rev. Abby d’Ambruoso, for our visiting Deacon, Stephanie, as well as our own Berto and Hugh, and all spiritual leaders who do their best to bring your message of love and inclusion to all who would know you.
You made us little lower than angels. Help all to find a way to fulfill our true destiny.
Oh Holy Creator: We find no words to express our deep concern for the health of the planet and for all beings—animal, vegetable, human. We pray for the well-being of your creation and ask that we find ways to be more helpful and less destructive to our Mother, Earth.
You made us little lower than angels. Help all to find a way to fulfill our true destiny.
We bless and thank all those who are actively working to end conflict throughout the world. We pray for all the tireless health care workers who come to the aid of those suffering from senseless violence, and ask that they not lose hope. May they stay strong. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, we ask that harmony, understanding, and kindness overwhelm of all who wage war.
You made us little lower than angels. Help us to find a way to fulfill our true destiny.
Oh Holy Creator: We bless and thank you for the teachers and all who are engaged in guiding our young people towards a meaningful future. May they all be blessed in this time of taking a step forward into a new phase of life. We pray that the integrity and vision of young minds will uncover new ways to manifest your kingdom more fully here on earth.
You made us little lower than angels. Help us to find a way to fulfill our true destiny.
We pray for all those searching for adequate housing and other help, for all those struggling with addictions and identity issues. Let them know gracious acceptance within themselves and those whom they love.
You made us little lower than angels. Help us to find a way to fulfill our true destiny.
Our Island is bereft. We have lost many of our beloved friends and family in recent weeks. We pray fervently for their peaceful repose. May grieving family and friends find solace and know that they are loved. We include here Darlene Kent, Marguerite Olsen, Bruce Parker, and Tim Simonian. Our hearts and prayers go out to all.
You made us little lower than the angels. May we, with the departed, be united in our destiny. Amen.
Those who are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries are invited to come forward. If you would like your name printed in the bulletin, please let the parish office know.

O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on your servants Aliza Diepenbrock (6/1), Heidi Sophia Hudlet (6/6) and Skipper Botsford (6/6) as they begin another year. Grant that they may grow in wisdom and grace, and strengthen their trust in your goodness all the days of their life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Officiant Let us pray for those celebrating anniversaries this week.
Grant, O God, in your compassion, that Sue and Kjell Askevold (6/2) may grow in forgiveness, loyalty, and love; and come at last to the eternal joys which you have promised through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
